High Street Place

September 23, 2020 by A. Murphy Inc.

As High Street Place sets its sights on an opening soon, it’s poised to bring 20 new food, drink, and entertainment vendors to downtown’s buzzing Financial District. Downtown Boston is planning a diverse blend of Boston’s culinary scene in a world-class architectural environment. Professionals and visitors in the Financial District will no longer have to push through the crowds of tourists at Quincy Market to get to the closest food court. Instead, they can step just a few feet away — to High Street Place.

The food hall is expected to be 18,471 square feet, with 22 local vendors and a seating space to fit 400 people, the structure combines 160 Federal St. and 100 High St. (Managed by Rockhill Development).

Within the 20,000 square foot space, which was designed by Gensler and Groundswell Design, the food hall will also serve as a social hub, offering live music, workshops, and a speaker series, along with an oversized LED video entertainment wall. When it opens, programming will kick off with a preview of Boston Calling’s seasonal Block Party series, though acts have not yet been announced. The food hall is expected to be 18,471 square feet, with 22 local vendors and a seating space to fit 400 people, the structure combines 160 Federal St. and 100 High St. (Managed by Rockhill Development).
