Life Time Athletic Country Club, Prudential Center – Boston, MA

When Life Time brought its high-end Athletic Country Club concept to Boston’s Prudential Center, they needed an electrical team that could support a true “live, work, train” environment—not just another gym.

This new 60,000 sq. ft., two-level club opened in October 2025 and features premium spaces including Alpha strength and conditioning areas, expansive cardio floors, Pilates studios, cold plunges, saunas and steam rooms, red-light therapy, recovery zones, lounges, co-working areas, and a full café and bar.

Our Role

Beginning in June 2024, A. Murphy Inc. partnered with Bond Building, BXP, Local 103, and IBEW to deliver complete electrical services for the project. Over a 16-month schedule, a crew of 12–16 A. Murphy electricians installed:

  • Architectural lighting and dimming controls across all fitness, wellness, and social spaces
  • New power distribution to support specialty equipment, kitchen operations, and back-of-house areas
  • Lighting for feature ceilings and exposed infrastructure, highlighting the industrial design while meeting energy-code requirements
  • Fire alarm and life-safety systems integrated with the Prudential Center’s broader campus infrastructure

Project Highlights

The finished club blends performance, recovery, and community in one modern environment—supported behind the scenes by reliable, efficient electrical systems. From the first impression at the front entrance to the glow of the training floors at night, A. Murphy Inc. helped ensure Life Time’s newest Boston location looks and performs exactly as envisioned.
